Special Features of the
Editor
Click on any of the following topics for more detailed
information:
- Hypertext in lines in the editor can be checked by double
clicking on it. This is really handy when you are creating or
proofing notes.
- When you are reading a note and see something that needs
changing, click on the spot in the note BEFORE you click on the
"Edit Note" command button.
- When the editor displays your note, the cursor will be
positioned exactly where you want to make the change. This is a
real time saver.
- The word search facility can be used to check and correct
mis-spelled Bible words.
- Highlight the word to check and click on the Search Button.
Click on OK.
- If the word is not found, select the correct spelling from the
word list, and use the copy and paste buttons to correct your
document.
- The formatting feature wraps the text to the proper length for
display. Any hyphenated words are “put back together”. This is a
handy feature if your material is from scanned pages.
- To format your notes place the cursor anywhere on the first
line, right click with the mouse and select format from the popup
menu. If your paragraphs are indented properly the entire section
will be formatted. The formatting stops when it finds a line
break.
- The check feature checks file to make sure all formatting codes
are balanced. It verifies only valid Greek/Hebrew characters used
for transliteration.
