Formatting Text in Notes

  • To Bold text add two back slash characters at the beginning and two more at the end of the text.

Example

The following word will be \\bold\\ when displayed produces -

Listed below are all the formats.

\%...\% underline
\_...\_ bold underline
\@...\@ italics
{...} footnote marker {a}
\!...\! small text
\$...\$ This bolds the font and increases font size by 10%. Use this for titles within a document.
\~...\~ Greek
\^...\^ Hebrew
\+ normal font
\- fixed font
\= Preserves poetry format. Use at the start of the poetry section. End section with \+ or \-
\; Latin

  • Press the Enter key twice to separate each paragraph from the next paragraph with a blank line.
  • To insert tabular information use \- .. \+. Place the \- and \+ on a line by themselves starting in column 1 of the line.
