CDROM
These tests are usually done by the CD-ROM manufacturing plant
to verify the CD-ROM mastering was correctly done and the finished
product is an exact image of the original material. You would not
normally run these tests as they run for about half an hour to an
hour on a typical CD-ROM.
This procedure checks the following:
- Checks that all files on CD-ROM are present.
- CRC checks each file for integrity.
- Verifies CD names are all ISO 9660 standard.
Click on OK to start the test. Click on Exit anytime to stop the
tests.
If you get errors reported then, try running this CD on someone
else's machine before you return it.
If the CDROM is truly defective, return to dealer for
replacement.
If this was not published under the program label, this is a
CD-ROM that was published illegally.
