Adding Cross References to Notes

To add cross references to notes, books, and definitions:

• Add the bold format using two backslash marks at the start and end of the reference.
• Follow the first backslash with the # character.
• The references can be a single verse, or a whole passage.

Examples:
\\#Ro 5:1\\
\\#Ro 5:1-12\\

Each line can contain one or more references, separated by spaces, commas, or semi-colons. References must be capitalized.

Examples:
\\#Joh 1:14\\
\\#Joh 10.30-33 Ps 45.6 Is 7.14\\

To denote a whole chapter simply add the book and chapter.

Examples:
\\#Ps 117\\
\\#Ps 23 Ps 24 Joh 1\\
\\#Joh 10:30-33 Ps 117 Ps 45:6 Isa 7:14\\

To add a cross reference using a different version place a forward slash (/) and the version name after the #.

Examples:
\\#/NKJV Joh 3:16\\
\\#/APC 1Ma 12:31\\

• All the references will display in a separate cross reference window.

• There is no size limit to the references or notes.

• Write out cross references normally as they would appear in a book and use the autoformat to put them into a standard format.

Example:
John 10:30-33 Psalms 45:6 Isaiah 7:14 becomes
\\#Joh 10:30-33 Ps 45:6 Isa 7:14\\

Hint:

Standard English abbreviations will always work. Autoformatting will try to detect verse references in scanned notes and format them correctly.

Displaying books with only one chapter -

Obadiah in the Old Testament and Jude, 2 John and 3 John in the New Testament.

\\#Jude\\ and \\#Jude 1\\ shows the entire book of Jude
\\#Jude 1:1\\ shows first verse, you must code the chapter and verse to show the first verse only.

Example:
\\#Jude 3\\ shows Jude 1:3
