Creating Your Own Books
- Books may be of any size.
To add your own books -
- Click on Tools - User Module Tools Define User Material.
- Enter the Name and Title in the appropriate boxes.
- Select “Books” from the list under Type.
- Go to "Advance Options" tab section and select "AV - Authorized
Version " as the associated Bible version.
- Click on OK to create the book set.
- Press F9 (Favourites) and select the book set you just created.
Click on OK
Index
- To create the index open your book by going to "File > Open
> Books" and select your book from the list. Do not change the
book number. It should display "Index" or zero (0).
- Open the editor by right clicking with the mouse and select
"Edit Note" from the popup menu.
- Enter your index as shown below.

- When done, right click on the text and select "check" from the
popup menu.
- Errors will be indicated by "err ==>"
Example:
"0" ERR==>"3 Chapter 3
- Select "Exit & Save" from the popup menu after making any
corrections.
- Open the index and click on the first book. Right click on the
window and then click on edit to open the text editor. Enter your
material.
- Format and check your material. Click on save and exit from the
popup menu.
Hints:
Bold the first line in each chapter using (\\ ..
\\) or in large bolded font (\$ ... \$) and then use the Create Dictionary Index to create
a preliminary index. You can then edit the index to match the
book.
By using the index value of "0" text will be displayed as a comment
line in the index.
