Changes for 6.91 Beta, (Oct. 17, 2025)

1) We have been working on the English translation for the Analytical so it is
much more readable and plan to release Version 3 of the Analytical and
Literal later this fall. Version 3 will read somewhere between the old AV
and the NKJV but is more conservative than the NKJV. We now call the Literal
version “the almost literal” since a truly literal version would be literally
absurd.

2) Under View Menu there is a new option called “Grammar Symbols, References,
and Dates.” When you turn this option on, it displays these options without
the parsings. Turn on the footnotes option to see the parsings.

3) Under Help Menu there is a new option calls “Help Videos”. These display
various features of the Online Bible. Any video of a feature you would
like, we shall try to make and add to this collection of videos.

4) 1987 restriction on indexing words when a module is compiled is removed. Back
then a large hard drive was 40 megs but now they are huge. To keep the modules
smaller we had this restriction. Normally phrases containing words like
“the”, “of”, and “a” would not work. Now when a module is recompiled they will.
Also the updated Literal translation will have all the parsings expanded
so you can search on a parsing. The Literal now works as the old Gramcord did
and allows you to search parsings as well as other things. The search
limit for verses is eliminated. Computers are much faster now than in 1987.
Old desktops containing search results may not have have the search words or
phrases underlined. Redo the search to correct the results.

5) OneDrive is detected during the install and user is warned against using it.
It requires Internet to work and may have access right problems. We recommend
installing the Online Bible on your C drive of your computer or a Memory Stick.
One should think twice before storing any data on a US controlled database.

6) Form windows fit the Online Bible screen. For those with large screens this
change is welcomed. However, you may have to adjust other fonts to make
them larger. Tools\Customize\Fonts form allows you to change fonts.

7) The actual font size is displayed after the +/- sign in the forms and main
window.

8) Mobile program updates will accommodate the new version of the Analytical.

9) Six new commands added to COMM server: GetModuleList, GetModuleLastNote,
GetModuleTitle, GetModuleText, GetHyperText, SetModuleOptions. These commands
extend COMM access to the Online Bible. For more details contact Larry Pierce
at Online Bible support.

As soon as we have completed version 3 of the Analytical, we plan to also
release this new version to support it. Lord willing it should be done by
the end of October.
