Test Video
This test displays a full colour map of Palestine.
If the test fails one of two things may happen:
- Nothing is displayed. This means that your graphics video
driver cannot properly display the maps and pictures.
- You may have to get a new video driver from the place that sold
you the video card. Your video card should have at least 256K on
memory.
- GPF (General Protection Fault) occurs in the video driver when
the image is being displayed.
Check the following:
- Contact the place that sold you the video card and get the
latest driver.
- If you are running Windows with more than 256 colours, reduce
the number of colours to 256 and retry this test.
- If you are running with 256 colours and the test fails, if you
set the number of colours to 16 the maps and images will display
but the colours will be distorted.
If the image displays correctly then:
- Use the scroll bars to move around the image to verify that
your video driver can handle the screen updates.
- Use the right mouse button to popup a menu to print the image
on your printer. If you have a colour printer, the image should
print in colour.
- To end the test, either close the window or press the Esc
key.
