Add Supplementary Material
This feature permits supplementary material to be added to the
existing program configuration.
To use this feature -
- Create backups of the material you wish to distribute. Turn off
data compression in the backup. By turning off the compression, we
can easily determine the amount of space required to add the
material to the user's program.
- Create a text file called OlbOwner.ID. This may contain
any text you like. You may insert formatting codes normally used in
preparing notes. Alternately, this file may be in Rich Text Format.
Use any word processor to create the file in RTF format. We suggest
you put your name, address and a brief description of the CD
material. This file is required, otherwise we will not find your
CD. The contents may be anything you wish.
- Copy the backup files and OlbOwner.ID file to the root
directory of your future CD.
Installing
- When you start up the program it will find the OlbOwner.ID file
and the "Add Supplementary Material" feature will be activated.
Click on "Add Supplementary Material" and follow the directions to
install.
Hint:
The material may be placed on any type of media
such as floppy disks or a zip drive.
