Phrase Search Button
- The Phrase Search button (or the Search command) opens
the Phrase Search dialog box.
- This powerful tool enables you to search for words or phrases
in all of the program material.
- The search generates a window containing all the material that
matches the word or phrase that you specify.
Search Text
- Enter the phrase you wish to search for.
- If the entered word is incorrectly spelled the word wheel will
be displayed allowing you to select the correct word.
- To do a word count, right click on your search list and select
"Count" from the poup menu. You may also use the hot key "Q" to
open the count dialog box.
Current Search Range
- Specify the range of search. Click on the "Set Range" button to
"fine tune" your search.
Hint:
A history list of up to 10 search ranges is
maintained. Click on the drop-down arrow to display and select a
previously used search range.
Select Item to Search
- Select the version, note or book set to search. By selecting
Search Multiple Databases you may search all of the selected
material.
Hint:
If the version or book you wish to search is not
visible in the list you will first have to select the version or
note set. Press F9 to open the "Favourites" window. You may also
limit your searches to Bible versions only by selecting the "Show
Bibles Only" check box.
