I need more information ... how are you trying to open another book?  There are a number of ways to open the introduction to a book.

1. Navigating from the menu ... Very hard to do on Android, iOS and Mac (I presume as I don't have a iOS or Mac).  But it works from Windows.  I am waiting for the developers for the Android version to address this.  They have more urgent things to do at present.  
2. Navigating from the Book Chapter 1: Verse 1.  If you go to any book... say, Haggai, and to Ch 1 Verse 1, there in WBT you will see a link to the Introductions of that book.  e.g. See WBT Introductions 37.  Click or tap on that and you will jump straight to Haggai Introductions
3. Searching the WBT Introductions book: the results from this is more cryptic.  Select WBT Introductions.  Tap on the magnifying glass in the green bar (there are two magnifying glasses ... make sure to tap the bottom one) to search for the book introduction you are after ... say, Haggai.  You will see one result that is distinguished from the rest of the result ... coloured red and has What the Bible Teaches Old Testament ... etc.

I'm sorry this isn't easier.  However, you will read from the Online Bible Developers for the Android, iOS and Mac versions, that they are focused on delivering Online Bible modules for Africa.  I will mention your request to them and see if they have the bandwidth to re-prioritize.
