Virus on Beta download

I cannot install the recent Beta due to a virus. Is anyone else having this issue? I've tried installing in safe mode and other workarounds to no avail. Win 10 with MS Defender. Grace and peace.
Trojan: Win32 / Wacatac.B! Ml is the virus btw.

Just tried again on another pc....maybe my Windows defender was glitchy as someone suggested. Got malware from the latest Beta.
Anyone else having issues?

You can add an exclusion to MS Defender and it will let you download the file.
- Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection.
- Under Virus & threat protection settings, select Manage settings, and then under Exclusions, select Add or remove exclusions.
- Select Add an exclusion, and then select file types. Type in "exe" minus the quotes.

I did. The beta erased some commentaries and versions inexplicably. Not sure what's going on with the latest Betas. Hopefully they'll get it figured out.

What you're saying makes perfect sense. Some deny that it's possible. However, what you are saying is plausible.
