Questions about a fresh installation

I will soon install OLB off the DVD to a new computer. I want to have all my preferences available in every desktop I will create: full names of books, adding a "close all windows" option, the same fonts everywhere, US Spelling. No scanning for the disk in the ROM drive... Should I start by making all those changes in the Online Bible Desktop and rename as I build the desktops individually? Will that ensure all the preferences are "universal"? Or is there another way, please?

The create tab section in the desktop manager will duplicate the desktop you are currently in. Does this help you?
