Fonts with new update

Page 1 of 2Next

Anyone else having trouble reading fonts (especially for "hints") with the latest program update? Never had a problem til now.  I was able to adjust everything else, but the hints font is unreadable. If no one can help, I'm going to uninstall the update and go back to 5.42

Thanks in adance! Win 10 (soon updating to 11) and 5.95.00.01

I am curious to know if you actually did revert to an earlier update.  I did because I did not like  (new0 the verse by verse format of copying large swaths of text.

I have not had any issues with seeing the hints. I am using the OLB default desktop settings. Operating system is Windows 10 pro.  See the attached screen shot.

I use Win 10 also. If I had not already reverted back to a prior version, I'd send a screenshot. Imagine your hint language and also the Bible books and chapters (upon using the menu to open a Bible book/chapter)  being 1/4 the size of the font on your screenshot if not less. That's how it was for me. I tried every trick in the book and asked for help from Online Bible tech support to no avail.

I'd love to know what your settings are and if anyone else had this issue. I'd desperately like the help. Unless some comes, I'll never update again.

I did. The abnormally small fonts for hints, Bible books when you clicked on the Bible icon to read a passage, etc., just made it too much of  a hassle. I don't carry binoculars that ofen 🙂

Seriously, it was a huge deficiency so I reverted back t0 5.45 and unless there's a fix or a workaround, I won't update again. 30+ year OLB user here. Breaks my heart.

I've tried sending a screenshot but it eliminates the hint text. Maybe there's a workaround to get a screenshot. Advice?

I went back and installed the new release. It corrected some issues, but hint font is still miniscule. Nothing is working to get it back to normal. Hopefully this bug will be fixed. Not looking forward to downgrading again.

Tom Campbell, What device are you using? On my MS Surface 7 with the 12.2 or so screen, I can see all I need to see with my 68 years old eyes. But the icons are too small to be useful for touch, even when using the pen. To increase the size of the icon I have to use the Windows 'app (for lack of the right word) which then oversizes the panes.

I used Windows Snipping Tool and set the time delay to 5 seconds.

I’ll send that later today.
