Download problem

Hi

I have just purchased a new Dell laptop and am trying to download Online Bible vn 5.54.00.00.  Fails with error message blocked by Microsoft Defender Smartscreen.

I have tried various solutions:-

rebooting and dowmnloading in Safe Mode

Switching off MacAfee software

using both Chrome and Edge

All have failed.

Can anyone help or advise please?

Thanks for your response, but I am still stuck.  I have done all the things suggested, and the install process aborts with an error message telling me either to disable any anti-virus software or Restart in Safe mode.  But neither of these options helps - install aborts at the same point.

THanks all - problem solved by switching off Macafee virus protection and runnig download as Administrator.  By the way it was a new laptop.

I am getting the same problem downloading an update. It says Virus detected. How do I download as administrator on Windows 11 PC?
